Our accreditations reflect the standards we hold ourselves to across every part of our organisation. From the security of our data to the quality of our frontline services, from how we support our staff to how we engage with the communities around us, each accreditation is evidence of a commitment we have made and met. We don’t collect these to display them. We earn them because they reflect how we believe Changing Lives should operate.
Cyber Essentials is a government-backed certification scheme that verifies organisations have the right technical controls in place to protect against common cyber threats. Certified Plus is the higher tier, requiring independent technical verification. It demonstrates that Changing Lives takes the security of its data, systems, and the people it works with seriously.
SGS ISO/IEC 27001 ISO/IEC 27001 is the internationally recognised standard for information security management. Achieving certification through SGS, one of the world’s leading inspection and certification companies, confirms that Changing Lives has a systematic and robust approach to managing sensitive information securely.
The Disability Confident scheme is led by the Department for Work and Pensions. Committed status demonstrates that Changing Lives is taking meaningful steps to recruit, retain, and develop disabled people, and to ensure its workplace is inclusive and accessible for everyone.
White Ribbon is the leading charity working to end male violence against women. Accreditation means Changing Lives has made a formal commitment to challenge the attitudes and behaviours that lead to harassment, abuse, and violence, and to create a culture where everyone is safe, respected, and valued.
The Menopause Workplace Pledge is a commitment to recognise that the menopause can be a significant challenge at work, and to take active steps to support colleagues who are affected. Signing the pledge reflects Changing Lives’ wider commitment to an inclusive, supportive, and open workplace culture
Homelessness and Supported Accommodation Members 2025/26 The Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance sets the standard for how housing and support providers respond to domestic abuse. Membership demonstrates that Changing Lives meets DAHA’s commitment framework, ensuring that the people we work with who are affected by domestic abuse receive a safe, informed, and consistent response.
The Employer Recognition Scheme, delivered through the Armed Forces Covenant, recognises employers who actively support those who serve or have served in the armed forces, and their families. Silver status reflects Changing Lives’ commitment to being a forces-friendly employer.
Three Year Accreditation by SafeLives. Leading Light is SafeLives’ gold standard accreditation for community-based domestic abuse services. Achieving a three year accreditation means Changing Lives’ domestic abuse services have been independently assessed against rigorous standards across service provision, multi-agency working, HR, and governance. It gives commissioners, partners, and the people we work with confidence that our domestic abuse services are safe, effective, and operating to the highest quality.
The Fundraising Regulator is the independent regulator of charitable fundraising in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Registration demonstrates that Changing Lives is committed to the highest standards of fundraising practice, transparency, and accountability to its supporters and the public.
The Princess Royal Training Awards, delivered by City and Guilds, recognise employers who have created outstanding training and development programmes that have a demonstrable impact on their organisation and the people within it. Achieving this award reflects Changing Lives’ commitment to investing in its people and to the Changing Lives Academy.
The Working with Trauma Quality Mark is a set of best practice standards in trauma-informed working. It is a practical and accessible tool to help organisations review, develop and evidence trauma-informed practice throughout their organisation.
