Changing Lives

Support for People Engaging in Sex Work, Survival Sex and Experiencing Sexual Exploitation

Our Service

Through Changing Lives: GAP/MAP, we provide specialist, trauma-informed support to individuals affected sexual exploitation, modern slavery, and online sexual harm across the North-East. We also provide support to local independent sex workers engaging in both online and ‘offline’ sex work.

Operating across the Northumbria, Durham, and Darlington areas, we offer long-term, tailored support to people aged 16 and over, including those at risk or with lived experience of exploitation. Our work is grounded in years of expertise and aims to reduce risk, minimise harm, and empower individuals on their journey toward safety and stability. Whether your experiences are recent or in the past – we’re here to support you, not judge you.
