North East based charity Changing Lives who have their headquarters on the Team Valley in Gateshead, are thrilled to announce a new partnership with Starbucks, as the global coffee chain prepares to open its newest store within Sainsbury’s on Team Valley.
The collaboration marks a shared commitment to raising funds and awareness to support Changing Lives’ vital work, helping people facing homelessness, domestic abuse, addiction, and other complex challenges across the UK.

As part of the partnership, Starbucks staff will engage in local fundraising efforts, host awareness campaigns in-store, and invite customers to contribute to the impactful initiatives led by Changing Lives.
Abby Christie, Senior Fundraising Manager at Changing Lives said:

Together, we can support individuals and families in crisis and help them rebuild their lives. Adam Scur, Store Manager at the newly opened Starbucks Team Valley store had this to say:
"We’re thrilled to be bringing the Starbucks experience to Sainsbury’s at Team Valley which opened on the 12th December. We are excited to be partnered with Changing Lives, working with our communities is something we wanted to get right from day one. We chose Changing Lives as they have such a positive impact on people that live in our area. We have created 8 new jobs from the local community and hope to work with Changing Lives to create more opportunities in the future. We can’t wait to welcome everyone!"
The partnership launched alongside the official opening of the Starbucks store on 12th December.
