Introduction to Service
The Women’s Enhanced Support Service is funded by The HMPPS Innovation Fund up until November 2025. The WESS offer individualised support to women who find themselves involved with the psychoactive substance ‘’monkey dust’’, to reduce the harm and associated risks of monkey dust use.
Key Information
We offer:
- Working with alongside probation, IOM, the Changing Lives CRS team, homeless services, and substance misuse services to respond to multiple complex trauma faced by women who use monkey dust
- Outreach to women who are at risk of harms associated with monkey dust
- Support to improve health relating to recovery, physical health, mental health, housing, abuse, exploitation and wellbeing
