Introduction to Service

The Vineries is a short-term (up to 2 years) 32 bed Supported Accommodation Provision for Single Homeless Young People aged 16 to 19 with low to medium support needs, requiring additional support to live independently, in housing need and either homeless or unsuitably / unsustainably housed.

The service focuses on delivering a life skills programme that supports young people to gain essential skills for living independently and maintaining a tenancy.

The building comprises of eight blocks with four units per block with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. The eight blocks are served by one shared communal living room and extensive outdoor space.

How to access the service

Referrals come through Barking and Dagenham council Housing Team or Social Services.
