IRIS
Women and Children
Introduction to Service
We provide programmes and support services to help women who are being, or who are at risk of being, sexually exploited and involved in sex work or ‘survival sex’.
We work one-to-one with women, tailoring our support package to their individual needs. We help women improve their health and wellbeing, personal safety and confidence in reporting crimes that occur while they are working.
Our support is non-judgemental. We help women identify the choices they have and can help them to find routes out of sex work if they want to, but also support women to stay safe if they continue to sell sex.
We develop multi-agency support and pathways into a wide variety of services to support individuals.
