Introduction to Service
Harbour View provides access to a safe and secure environment for young people between the ages of 16 (having left secondary education) and 25 years of age, who are experiencing homelessness.
The service has an emphasis on developing young people by ensuring a wide range of support is delivered to address and overcome support needs. The aim for each individual is to move into independent living and into employment, education or training, with all the required skills to live independently.
Key Information
We offer:
- 24-hour support within the project
- Support sessions on a one-to-one basis
- Self-catering facilities
- Support to address all health needs and develop healthy living
- Independent living skills such as managing debt
How to access
Referrals to be made via the commissioning specialist in Together for Children Sunderland.
People must have a local connection to the area, unless there are exceptional circumstances.

People aged 16-25 living in South Tyneside.
