CJ (Women) South Yorkshire
Women's Services
Introduction to Service
In South Yorkshire, Changing Lives work in partnership with Together Women Project and GROW to support women within the Criminal Justice System (CJS).
The support we offer is tailored to support vulnerable women whilst on licence, within custody or within the community. Eligible women are 18+ and have two years or less left to serve on their license.
We work closely with multiple organisations to deliver a range of support that may be required to help the women create a life away from criminal activity and pursue future goals. Women can also take courses to support their personal development.
Specialist Workers provide holistic support and deliver therapeutic interventions at four women’s Centres/Women only spaces in Doncaster, Sheffield, Rotherham & Barnsley. A custody-based Practitioner in HMP New Hall specialises in providing accommodation support.
